 可編程控制器（PLC）具有結構靈巧，硬件配置靈活方便、可靠性高、抗*力強，易學易用的特點，已作為普遍的自動化控制器件廣泛應用于各行各業。《PLC原理及應用》課程已成為工科院校一門覆蓋面較廣的專業課，作為學校如何培養出高素質應用型PLC人才，這成為社會、學校、教師與家長關注的焦點。根據多年的教學實踐，就影響PLC人才培養的各個因素的提高與協同，我提出以下幾點建議以供參考： 

    一、教學與實習設備投入。在PLC課程的實踐教學中，應把機械、電工、電子、液壓、氣動和計算機等知識與PLC技術進行有機地，擴大實習實訓課時的比重，逐步加大學校相關設備的投入，建立較為完備的PLC技術仿真實訓室，從而為“PLC仿真項目開發"的實訓教學創造良好條件。教學實踐證明，只有通過PLC仿真項目方面的實訓，讓學生親自編程、實際接線和仿真調試，并對運行過程中所遇到的問題進行分析和改進，才能真正培養學生創新思維和綜合職業能力，真正實現學生畢業后在PLC技術應用領域“*上崗"的zui終教學目標。

二、理論、實驗與實訓教學。任何課程教學活動的首要任務都是激發學生的學習興趣，同樣在PLC教學中激發學生的興趣并不難，重要的是讓學生不斷地提高，不斷地體驗到成功的喜悅，這樣才能始終保持其濃厚的興趣。

     1、理論課的首要任務是讓學生明確PLC是什么？PLC能做什么？怎么做？教師可以通過一個簡單、形象實例（如：電機的長動控制）的完整講解、操作與演示，先讓學生了解PLC控制系統包括主電路與控制電路，PLC的外部硬件連線與內部軟件編程兩個基本的環節僅僅充當控制電路部分，讓學生整體了解PLC控制系統的構成與工作過程，再以此為基礎進行外部硬件連線與內部軟件編程兩個基本環節的深入講解，這樣便于學生對比繼電接觸器控制系統對本課程的整體把握，明確課程的中心任務，有了目標也就有了學習的動力。
