一 聚苯醚PPE
聚苯醚化學名稱為聚2,6-二甲基-1,4-苯醚, PPE(Polypheylene ether) 或簡稱PPO( Polyphenylene Oxide)。又稱為聚亞苯基氧化物或聚苯撐醚,是一類耐高溫的熱塑性樹脂。市場上通用的主要為改性的聚苯醚(Modified Polyphenylene Oxide),簡稱MPPO,或者MPPE(Modified Polypheylene ether)。由于習慣上,對聚苯醚和其改性共混聚合物都稱為PPE(美國叫法)或PPO(日本叫法),本文也采用通俗稱法:以下稱為PPE或PPO。
二、聚苯醚PPE特性 PPE是一種綜合性能優(yōu)良的熱塑性工程塑料,突出的是電絕緣性和耐水性優(yōu)異,尺寸穩(wěn)定性好。
1.介電性能居工程塑料:PPE樹脂分子結構中無強極性基團,電性能穩(wěn)定,可在 廣泛的溫度及頻率范圍內保持良好的電性能。其介電常數(shù)和介電損耗角正切是工程塑料中zui
小的,且?guī)缀醪皇軠囟取穸燃邦l率數(shù)的影響。其體積電阻率是工程塑料中zui高的。PPE的優(yōu)異電性能使其廣泛應用于生產(chǎn)電器產(chǎn)品,尤其是耐高壓的部件,如彩電的行輸出變壓器( FBT)等。
2.良好的機械性能及熱性能:PPE子鏈中,含有大量的芳香環(huán)結構,分子鏈感性較強。
樹脂的機械強度較高,耐蠕變性優(yōu)良,溫度變化影響甚小。PPE具有較高的耐熱性,玻璃化溫度高達211℃,熔點268℃。

3.優(yōu)異的耐水性:PPE為非結晶性樹脂,在通常的溫度范圍,分子運動少,主鏈中無 大的極性基團,偶極矩不發(fā)生分極,耐水性非常好,是工程塑料中吸水率zui低的品種。在熱水中長時間浸泡其物理性能仍有很少下降。4.阻燃性良好,具有自熄性:PPE的氧指數(shù)29,為自熄材料,而高抗沖擊性聚苯乙烯的氧指數(shù)17為易燃性材料,二者合一是具中等程度的可燃性,制造阻燃等級PPE時,不需要添加鹵素的阻燃劑,加入含磷類阻燃劑即可達到UL94標準,減少對環(huán)境的污染。
5.收縮率低,尺寸穩(wěn)定性好;無毒,密度小。
6.耐介質性和耐光性:PPE對酸、堿和洗滌劑等基本不受腐蝕,在受力的情況下,礦 物油及酮類、酯類溶劑會產(chǎn)生應力開裂;對有機溶劑如脂肪烴、鹵代脂肪烴和芳香烴等會使之融漲和溶解。PPE弱點是耐光性差,長時間在陽光或熒光燈下使用產(chǎn)生變色,顏色發(fā)黃,原因是紫外線能使芳香醚的鏈結合分裂所致。而如何改善PPE的耐光性成為一個課題。
三、聚苯醚(PPE)成型工藝
PPE可通過注塑、擠出等工藝加工成各種制品:
1.注塑:柱塞式或螺桿式注塑機都能加工PPE。一般采用螺桿式注塑機,要求長徑比大于15:1,壓縮比1.7 ~4.0(一般采用2.5~3.5)。
2.擠出:PPE能在擠出機上加工成管、片、棒、塊等。采用排氣式、長徑比大的擠出機。

Modified polyphenylene ether (PPE), high heat resistant, suitable for plastic/rubber composites manufactured by the K&K process VESTORAN is the registered trademark of Evonik Degussa GmbH for molding compounds containing poly-2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether as polymeric constituent (poly-phenylene ether, PPE, also referred to as PPO). As a material of amorphous structure VESTORAN 1900 shows very small mold shrinkage. Therefore molded parts have a very low tendency to warp. The impact modified compound is of low density and easy to process. Further properties are excellent impact strength, heat deflection under load and suitability for being coated with lacquers. Moldings of VESTORAN 1900 are dimensionally stable and hydrolysis resistant even in hot water, but are more sensitive to organic solvents than semi-crystalline plastics. VESTORAN 1900 is resistant to aqueous alkalines and acides, certain alcohols, and glycol solutions. Colored material contains only cadmiumfree pigments. VESTORAN 1900 is particularly suitable for the adhesion promoter-free manufacturing of plastic/ rubber composites by the Evonik Degussa GmbH-patented K&K process. | |
